When Umaimah approached
Professor Raymond Gilmartin at HBS and told him
about dreamfly, he was excited about the idea.
His feedback to Umaimah was "I admire and
appreciate all the work you are doing with your
organization, starting with the school in rural
Pakistan. I’ve experienced first-hand the
incredible, long-lasting impact quality
education can have on a rural community through
our initiatives at Merck for rural Tanzania.
It’s great to see your HBS colleagues come
together to work towards this invaluable cause.

The
Raymond & Gladys Gilmartin Foundation has
sponsored the Akri dreamfly school library.
Professor Gilmartin is currently part of the HBS
faculty and is Professor of Management Practice.
He also serves on the boards of Microsoft and
General Mills Inc. Prior to this, Professor
Gilmartin was the President, Chairman and CEO of
Merck & Co., Inc.
